Sekolah Darma Bangsa successfully held a dual event series, the Semester Closing and Christmas Celebration 2025/2026, on Thursday, December 11, 2025 . Taking place in Hall B, the event was attended by the entire school family, ranging from Kindergarten (T-NTK), Elementary, Middle, and High School students, to the teachers and staff .
Semester Closing: Reflecting and Recharging
The activities began with the Semester Closing agenda at 08:00 WIB, carrying the theme “Closing in Thanks, Opening in Power” . This theme was selected as a form of reflection on academic achievements over the past semester while simultaneously awakening new strength to face the upcoming semester .
The event opened with a prayer led by Ms. Rahel, followed by the singing of the national anthem, Indonesia Raya, and the Sekolah Darma Bangsa March . In her opening remarks, the Foundation Chairperson, Ms. Lidwina Heryani, S.TA, B.A, emphasized the importance of SDB’s core values, specifically Endurance, Empathy, Kindness, and Confidence .
The highlight of the semester closing was a session titled “Motivation to Arouse Learning Spirit,” presented by the Character Building Team . Furthermore, the stage was enlivened by various student talent performances, ranging from dances by Kindergarten and Middle School students and a pianica performance by Elementary students to solo singing by High School students .
Christmas Celebration: Joy and Kindness
Following the general session, the warm atmosphere continued with the Christmas Celebration, which began at 10:00 WIB . This worship service and celebration were attended by Christian and Catholic students alongside their parents .
This year’s Christmas message was delivered by the Operational Director, Mr. Reymund Levi, while the sermon was delivered by Rev. Mugiatsih . The program featured a short drama fragment performed by Middle and High School students, praise offerings from the Religion Choir, and dances by Kindergarten and Elementary students .
As a tangible manifestation of the value of kindness, the thanksgiving offerings collected during the event will be donated to SDB Charity to assist flash flood victims in Sumatra .
Through these activities, Sekolah Darma Bangsa hopes that all students can enter the holiday season with peaceful hearts and be prepared to return with even higher learning spirits in the next semester .
