In order to strengthen the synergy between the school and parents in supporting students’ educational success, Sekolah Darma Bangsa held a Parents Orientation (PO) event on July 8–9, 2026. This event serves as an initial agenda for the academic year aimed at providing information regarding school programs, curriculum, code of conduct, and various policies that will be implemented during the learning process. The Parents Orientation took place over two days. On Wednesday, July 8, 2026, the activity was intended for parents of Grade 7 students and was held in person at Hall B Sekolah Darma Bangsa. Meanwhile, on Thursday, July 9, 2026, the event was held for parents of Grade 8 and Grade 9 students online via Zoom meeting.
The event was officially opened by the Head of the Sekolah Darma Bangsa Foundation, Mrs. Lidwina Heryani, S.TA., B.A. In her speech, she emphasized the importance of close collaboration between the school and parents in molding students who possess strong character, high achievements, and the ability to face future challenges. She also invited all parents to become active partners with the school in accompanying their children’s growth and development.
The next presentation was delivered by Mrs. Rosdiana Setyaningrum, M.Psi, M.PHEd, Psychologist, who explained the Core Values of Sekolah Darma Bangsa as the foundation for students’ character building. These core values are expected to be applied consistently both in the school environment and at home, thereby creating continuity in students’ character development at Sekolah Darma Bangsa.
Next, the Principal of Sekolah Darma Bangsa Junior High School, Mr. Arif Fahrudin, M.Pd., Gr., presented the school curriculum and various academic programs that will be carried out during the 2026/2027 Academic Year. In this session, parents gained an overview of the learning direction, student achievement targets, and the school’s commitment to delivering quality education. The following session was presented by the Vice Principal, Mrs. Windi Sugesti, S.Pd., Gr., who provided a socialization on student regulations and discipline. She explained various school rules, expectations for student behavior, and the crucial role of parents in supporting the implementation of a culture of discipline as part of positive character building. In addition, participants also received information regarding various extracurricular activities that students can join to develop their interests, talents, and potential in both academic and non-academic fields. Parents were also given an explanation regarding the tuition payment procedure for new students to ensure a clear understanding of the school’s administrative mechanisms.
In closing, the event concluded with an interactive Q&A session. On this occasion, parents were able to express questions, feedback, and clarifications regarding the various information presented by the speakers. The enthusiasm of the participants demonstrated the high level of parental care toward their children’s educational process as well as a commitment to maintaining good communication with the school.
Through the implementation of Parents Orientation 2026, Sekolah Darma Bangsa hopes to build an even stronger partnership between the school and parents. With open communication, shared vision, and continuous cooperation, it is expected that all students will grow into individuals who excel academically, are strong in character, and are ready to face global challenges in accordance with the vision and mission of Sekolah Darma Bangsa.
