Ande-Ande Lumut The Musical was successfully staged on April 11th, 2026, at Taman Budaya Bandar Lampung, captivating the audience with a vibrant and engaging performance. More than an artistic presentation, the event served as an educational platform that brought Indonesian folklore to life through a modern, meaningful, and immersive stage experience. The musical was presented in three languages—English, Indonesian, and East Javanese—enriching both the cultural and linguistic dimensions of the performance.

The story portrays the legendary tale of Ande-Ande Lumut, the disguise of Prince Panji Asmarabangun, in his journey to reunite with his true love, Dewi Sekartaji. Through themes of separation, perseverance, and destiny, the performance conveys timeless values of sincerity, kindness, and the beauty of inner character over outward appearance.

Throughout the production process, Darma Bangsa School’s Core Values were seamlessly integrated into the learning experience:

Through this experience, students gained holistic learning by integrating performing arts with character education.

The production featured dynamic choreography, culturally inspired costumes, and a harmonious blend of traditional and modern music. Characters such as Klenting Kuning and Yuyu Kangkang enriched the storyline with emotional depth and engaging moments of entertainment.

All cast members were Grade 4 and Grade 5 students participating in the Drama and Dance extracurricular programs, actively involved in the entire production process. The success of this performance was also supported by the collaboration of the Board of Directors, teachers, staff, General Affairs (GA), and parents, who contributed across various aspects of the event.
