On September 21st, 2025,SMP Darma Bangsa held an informative session for our Grade 7-9 students titled “Petualangan Seru bersama Pahlawan Damkar” The event took place in Hall B from 08.00 to 11.00 A.M. The school was honored to host an officer from the Fire Department and Rescue, Mr. Asmadi, S.E., who came to share their expertise and real-life experiences with our students.
The guest speaker provided a lot of valuable information to help students stay safe and prepared. The materials covered several key topics:
- The Role of the Fire Dept: An inside look at the daily duties and responsibilities of a firefighter.
- Fire Prevention: Practical ways to identify and prevent fire risks at home and school.
- Safety Procedures: Essential steps to take to stay safe if a fire occurs.
- First Aid Basics: Simple but life-saving skills for emergency situations.
After the presentation, the students participated in a very interesting Question and Answer session. Our Junior High students were very curious, asking many great questions about rescue missions and how to handle different types of emergencies. The officers provided clear and helpful answers, making the learning experience both fun and easy to understand.
Through this event, SMP Darma Bangsa hopes to build a more “Safety-Conscious” generation. By understanding fire safety early on, our students are now better equipped to protect themselves and their community.
