A vibrant atmosphere filled Hall B of SD Darma Bangsa on Wednesday, May 14, 2025. That day, the Grade 1 and 2 students confidently took the stage in the Student Led Conference (SLC) 2025, which carried the theme “Smart Tech, Clear Earth – Together We Innovate for a Better Tomorrow.”

For Phase A students, the focus was on “Transportasi Masa Depan,” part of the Proyek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) under the dimension “Berekayasa dan Berteknologi untuk Membangun NKRI”. The theme encouraged children to imagine a better future through innovations in eco-friendly and sustainable transportation.

Prior to SLC Day, students explored various forms of traditional vehicles as part of Indonesia’s cultural heritage and also learned about modern transportation technologies. Through this experience, they discovered how technology and local wisdom can complement each other.

The students then engaged in brainstorming sessions, created design sketches, and selected appropriate materials to develop their own future transportation prototypes. Working independently or in groups, they brought their ideas to life through creative and functional models.

Unexpectedly, the results were both diverse and visionary. There were wind-powered vehicles, high-speed electric trains, and even multi-functional vehicles designed to travel on both land and water. These innovative designs showcased the students’ imagination and creativity in tangible form.

The highlight of the event was the presentation session in Hall B. One by one, the students stood before parents and teachers to explain their ideas, design processes, and final outcomes. This activity not only trained their public speaking skills but also honed their ability to think logically and present information clearly.

Parents who attended were enthusiastic and proud to see their children confidently share their ideas and projects. It was a touching moment that reinforced the belief that with proper guidance, every child has the potential to become a change-maker for a brighter future.

Through this SLC, SD Darma Bangsa reaffirmed its commitment to providing a learning space that fosters innovation, collaboration, and the courage to dream big. These students are not just learning theories; they are experiencing the process of thinking and creating real solutions for a better world.
