Socialization of Grade 9 English Camp 2026
The English Camp is an annual flagship program at SMP Darma Bangsa, held at the renowned Kampung Inggris in Kediri, East Java. This immersive journey is designed to build key character t raits in students such as independence, teamwork, and resilience while significantly honing their communication skills, particularly in the English language.
On Thursday, July 23, 2026, SMP Darma Bangsa held a socialization event for Grade 9 parents in preparation for the upcoming English Camp 2026, scheduled to take place from November 29 to December 8, 2026. The event was warmly attended by parents of Grade 9 students, representing classes Procyon, Cygnus, and Avior.
The session commenced with a welcoming opening by the Master of Ceremonies, Ms. Nadia Hijrotunnisa, S.Pd., who set a pleasant and engaging atmosphere for all attendees. To seek blessings for the smooth implementation of the upcoming camp, Ms. Shinta Nois Yuliatmi, S.Pd.B., Gr. led everyone in a solemn, heartfelt prayer.
Following the prayer, the Principal of SMP Darma Bangsa, Mr. Arif Fahrudin, M.Pd., Gr., delivered his opening remark. He emphasized the fundamental objectives of the English Camp, reiterating its vital role in fostering students’ self- reliance and boosting their English proficiency through practical and experiential learning.
Ms. Made Shelly Nilayati, S.Pd., Gr., as a PIC of the program, detailed the complete rundown and agenda of the camp, providing parents with a clear overview of the activities, learning modules, and daily routines planned for the students.The event proceeded in a very warm and peaceful atmosphere. The parents
showed remarkable enthusiasm throughout the presentation, actively participating during the Q&A session by asking thoughtful questions about the itinerary and camp logistics.
With such strong support and positive energy from the parents, SMP Darma Bangsa is excited to guide the Grade 9 students through an enriching and transformative English Camp experience this coming November!
