The student orientation program at SMP Darma Bangsa was a smooth and successful event. The two-day event, held on July 14 and 15, 2025, featured a packed and engaging schedule.
On the first day, the event was opened with a warm welcome from Ms. Nana as the PIC (Person in Charge) who greeted the new students and introduced the Student Council (OSIS) Chairperson, Tofa Andriansyah, and the Vice Chairperson, Delisha Sabarani. Then the event continued with an opening remark by Mr. Arif Fahrudin as the Principal.
Afterward, Mr. Arif Fahrudin introduced the school profile and all the teachers at Darma Bangsa Middle School so the students could better understand their school environment. The event continued with an introduction to the Student Council (OSIS) team. The new students were then invited to take a school tour, guided by the OSIS team.
On the second day, students participated in various exciting games. These activities were guided by the Student Council team, with support from teachers from Darma Bangsa Middle School, creating a more friendly and enjoyable atmosphere. Each group had to participate in ten games. These games were very enjoyable because, in addition to modern games, we also provided traditional games, with the aim of preserving Indonesian culture.
Overall, this orientation activity aims to allow new students to adapt to the school environment, get to know the teachers and friends, and understand the culture and regulations that apply at Darma Bangsa Middle School. At the end of the activity, it would not be complete without the election of the King and Queen of SO 2025. The selection of King and Queen is based on students’ activeness in activities and interactions or their ability to mingle with friends and upperclassmen. In addition, there are prizes distributed based on several categories including competitions and the best student in the PBB.
